I really do
Originally, this design had a dual purpose for me:
to further my own journey of self-love through the meditation of embroidery and
to spread a positive and hopeful message to anyone who saw me wearing it.
It was a message that I needed at the time and I knew other people would need as well. I truly believe that wishing someone to love themselves is the greatest thing that we can hope for them.
I made about 10 handmade ‘I hope u love urself’ shirts and then created a small run of black-on-black shirt, sweatshirts, and beanies before retiring the design in 2020.
If you are one of the few who owns this design: I hope you feel the loving intention behind these words each time you wear them.
